While testing our high pressure oil pumps, we've found that the 6.0L pumps were capable of more output that was being limited by a poor delivery system. We've created a new system that will allow even a stock pump to realize more output. But, if you're installing a larger volume hpop - like our Adrenaline or a dual pump setup in your 6.0L, then this delivery system is required in order to realize the full potential from the larger volume.
With the HPODS for the 6.0L, modified or even stock trucks will notice a quieter engine, quicker starts, better throttle response and more power. Those with larger injectors will notice more power from their programs. You'll be able to maintain higher pressures in your hotter tunes.
The "Basic" systems will include a CNC distribution block, three CNC adapters for engine connections, two custom precision hydraulic metering control devices and ICP extension harness. These are for the custom application where twin turbos or another application is needed, or you simply want to build your own hoses and configuration.
The "Complete" 6.0L HPODS - High Pressure Oil Delivery System - will include a CNC distribution block, three CNC adapters for engine connections, two custom precision hydraulic metering control devices, ICP extension harness, Stainless braided high pressure hoses with firesleeve protectant cover, bracket and hardware, and all fittings to complete the installation. If you choose the Complete System to include the hoses you will do so with the understanding that hydraulic hoses carry NO WARRANTY. We cannot guarantee them as they will not be made in-house. With that said, the hoses we did decide on were the best that can be made. They are factory built, stainless braided high pressure hoses made to withstand 5000psi constant working pressure, 20,000lb burst pressure, and 600 degrees. This is not your typical hydraulic hose.
You will have to aquire a few items on your own. You will need a 2005-2007 passenger side valve cover, ICP undercover gasket, and whatever means you decide to re-route your crankcase vent system hose. We can help you with ideas.
FAQ
Q: Will this eliminate the factory system? I have a current leak in mine.
A: No, this is a parallel system. It feeds the heads along with your factory system.
Q: Why won't this work on the 03 models?
A. The 2003-early 2004 model year trucks were not equipped with the ports in the oil rails to make this system possible.
Q: I'm going to buy the basic system because I have twin turbos. Can you make the hoses for me if I supply the lengths?
A: We can, but keep in mind that because they are factory built, the wait time to receive them is up to 8 weeks.
